This is first day of work. I quickly did a gesture drawing, in line, and wiped the canvas to set an impramatura of burnt umber. I developed the mass of the form, then wiped down the paint to establish the light areas. I then went back to redefine the drawing, setting the lines and attempting to correct the drawing. To finish the day , I wiped away the hard lines so that next week will allow for easier corrections.
