In Memory of Marilyn, my dear mother, who passed away after a brave but ultimately futile battle with pancreatic cancer near five years ago to the day, November 6, 2003. Marilyn loved cheering on the runners, whether in her home borough of Brooklyn or in Central Park, where we often met. May you go with God always.
