I invite you to embark on an ongoing photographic odyssey - one of exotic locales, colorful characters, strange customs and untold adventures. Not to be overshadowed, New York City, a microcosm of the world, pulsates with art, fashion and culture, with surprises and contradictions all its own. A tribute to my mother, I painted this from life. I had difficulty painting the hands and ended up using my own hands as a model, which I painted using a mirror. She points toward the bible, which she kept on her lap often
