Art and Expeditions

I invite you to embark on an ongoing photographic odyssey - one of exotic locales, colorful characters, strange customs and untold adventures. Not to be overshadowed, New York City, a microcosm of the world, pulsates with art, fashion and culture, with surprises and contradictions all its own. Long Island beckons too, from North Fork vineyards to South Shore beaches. I hope my paintings and photos inspire and inform. South Korean Youth

Contrasts of any sort are particularly compelling. The youth and moderness of the young men is in contrast to the timelessness of the historic village they are part of. The left most figure almost emerges from the frame, creating a strong and powerful visual dynamic. The principles of painting and photography are the same. Diagonals build drama and power. /travel
